Research on the mechanism, performance, preparation and commercial production technology of various rare earth magnetostrictive materials including TbDyFe, SmFe, FeGa and NiMnGa alloys with giant magnetic induction strain. The research on process technology includes direct melting, directional solidification, powder metallurgy and grain synthesis.
