Holding a professional research team and many advanced instruments, the testing and analyzing center is engaged in the analysis and testing of  rare earth minerals, metals, alloys, compound, ferrous metals, nonferrous metals, beneficiation and metallurgy, other materials, soil and biological samples. Besides, the center also engages in the research of analyzing method, the drawing of many national rare earth analysis method standard and preparation of reference samples. It also conducts the testing research of physical properties.
